Orientation Run

The IRON KNEE/TENDER KNEE ORIENTATION RUN is this Saturday, May 11^th. This is a perfect chance to practice on the actual race route. Everyone is welcome. It’s free! Distances include 22K and 13K.

We are meeting at 8:15 a.m. in Deep Cove and carpooling to the start of the two races.

08:15 a.m. – Meet in Deep Cove on the corner of Deep Cove and Cliffmont Roads. Park your car on Deep Cove Road (before it curves down to Gallant Ave). Do NOT park in Panorama Park.

08:25 a.m. – Carpool to starting points.

Iron Knee Orientation start point: take Mount Seymour Parkway to Highway #1, take Lonsdale exit. Turn right onto Lonsdale. Lonsdale veers to the left. Turn right on Prospect Road. Follow to top near the gate. Meet at the gate.

Tender Knee Orientation start point: take Mount Seymour Parkway to Lillooet Road. Turn right and go all the way into the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. Meet at the gazebo area.

08:50 a.m. – Meet at starting points. Sign in and orientation run will begin at 09:00 a.m.

Spring Clinic Starts Saturday

Spring Clinic starts this Saturday, March 23rd. We are meeting at Forerunners at 8:30 a.m. and will be heading to the trails after a brief talk. Distances include 6K and 10K leaving from Lynn Canyon park (approx. 9:00ish). Drop-ins welcome ($5 correct change please).
