What Trail Whisperer expects from its volunteers:
We want our volunteers to be informed and enjoy the experience of supporting our racers through all aspects of the event. Our volunteers will:
- Review the race course
- Read and follow ALL volunteer information/instructions and ask questions if you are not sure of something
- Arrive and check-in at your scheduled time
- Be prepared for changing weather conditions – wear appropriate clothing
- Bring a chair, snack and water if you are out on course
- Be ready to cheer on our racers
- Provide any feedback on where we can improve for racers and volunteers
What our volunteers can expect from Trail Whisperer:
- All volunteers of Trail Whisperer Race Series events will receive a ton of appreciation from the Trail Whisperers team and event racers!
- Volunteers who work four or more hours will receive 50% off a race entry fee, plus advance registration, into an eligible Trail Whisperer event (does not include processing fees).
- The 50% off entry must be used within one year of the race at which you volunteered. For example, volunteering at Hallow’s Eve earns you the discount entry into an eligible Trail Whisperer event up to and including next year’s Hallow’s Eve.
- Eligible races may be found in the table below.
- Volunteer discounts of 50% off race entries are non-transferable.
