Planning for 2024?
The Phantom Run will be held on November 16, 2024

The Phantom Run is a relaxed and fun winter fundraising race through the lower reaches of the North Shore trails near the Seymour River. Run technical and non-technical trails, with some steep climbs and descents. After the race, feast on hot soup, and other delights!  We contribute to the Harvest Project in this race, so please bring some non-perishable packaged food to donate.

COURSE INFORMATION (UPDATED NOVEMBER 6)

NEW: All race distances start and finish at the Lynn Canyon Park parking lot in Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve (LSCR), across from the filtration plant on Lillooet Road in North Vancouver. Drive about 3 km past Capilano University on Lillooet Road and park in an available parking lot on the right side (gravel) or at the Lynn Canyon Park sign lot. We recommend carpooling.

  • All races start and finish at the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve (LSCR), at the Lynn Canyon Park parking lot (new in 2023), across from the filtration plant.
  • WAVE STARTS – Due to the volume of racers heading onto the course at the start, we may do wave starts for 25 km and 12 km distances. We will be letting groups of 40-50 racers start every 2 minutes.
  • Please place yourself in the first wave if you are racing for a podium finish. Time is from official start.
Cut-off Times

The course closes at 1:30 p.m.

Aid Stations

There are three aid stations in total: three for the 25 km and 19.5 km and one for the 12 km. Aid stations will have water, electrolyte drink, gels, chips, blocks or chews, cookies and other treats. First Aid supplies are available at every aid station.

Aid Station locations:

  1. Baden-Powell and Fisherman’s (all distances pass this aid station).
  2. Suspension Bridge Trail near gazebo (only 19.5 km and 25 km pass this aid station).
