NEWS: Race results for 2025 are now available.
Where else can you see the Devil, the Pope, a sunflower and two old grannies climbing a mountain?! Dress up to race through some of the North Shore’s most gruesome trails in the Hallow’s Eve Trail marathon, half marathon and 10 km trail races. A truly scary event! From the start at the base of Lynn Creek, you will be challenged with some of the ghastliest (it’s Halloween) trails that Vancouver’s North Shore has to offer. In addition to challenging courses, there are many other highlights, including a complimentary course orientation run and awards for the best costume!

2025 forward: Due to some creative grooming, the marathon route will ascend Jetboy trail instead of Skyline. Jetboy is just to the east of Skyline and joins into Skyline near the top of the climb. You will then continue on Skyline until you reach Screaming Eagle Chairlift, climb a bit more, then begin your desent.
Start/Finish Area
All races start and finish Inter River Park, North Vancouver. Drive down Inter River Park Drive (off Lillooet Road). Take the first left at the bottom of the hill, then right into the parking lot. The start is near the bathrooms and the BMX track area.
Cut-off Times
There will be a cut-off time for the Marathon course at the Lynn Headwaters aid station. The cut-off time is noon. The Lynn Headwaters aid station is at approximately 24.5 km.
Aid Stations
You must carry some hydration and fuel as there are some big climbs between aid stations. For 2025 there are four locations for aid stations. The Marathon passes an aid station five times. The Half-Marathon passes an aid station three times and the 10K passes one aid station. Aid stations will have water, electrolyte drink, gels, chips, blocks or chews, cookies and other treats. First Aid supplies are available at every aid station.
Aid Station locations:
- Top of Twin Bridge trail (by Homestead) (all distances)
- Lynn Headwaters at hiker sign-in bridge (crosses Lynn Creek)
- Baden-Powell approximately .5K past Mosquito Creek (marathon only)
- Mountain Highway (marathon only)
