Trail Whisperer Run Series is the new home of the four unique trail races (formerly with Foretrails) that take place throughout the North Shore Mountains – Hallow’s Eve, The Phantom Run, Dirty Duo and Iron Knee/Tender Knee. We are unique because we offer trail running clinics made up of a great community of trail runners and clinic leaders who will help you navigate the trails and get ready for each of our series races.
Trail Whisperer was founded by Gottfried Grosser, who was dedicated to creating fun and exhilarating challenges for trail runners in coastal BC mountains. He created and was race director for the Frosty Mountain Ultra and Tenderfoot Boogie Trail race events. Sadly, in November 2021, Gottfried passed away. Before he passed, he asked Benji Chu to take on Trail Whisperer, to continue his legacy.
Benji has added the Foretrail Run Series to the Trail Whisperer family and is dedicated to continuing Gottfried’s legacy by hosting low key fun races in amazing settings, but also, to help you experience all the beauty that the North shore has to offer in a truly breathtaking and unique way, whether you are running, volunteering or cheering on your friends and family.
